UNDERSTANDING COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC HEALTH WORKFORCE ACTIVATIONDuring an emergency situation, accurate and timely communication may be Public Health’s most important action, both internally and externally.

Public Health Workforce Activation places special demands on the entire public health workforce. All must understand the basics of working under activation conditions.

The Communications Workgroup was tasked with developing a work plan to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders regarding essential information about a public health workforce activation.
